Proverbs 17:9, “He that covereth a transgression seeketh love; but he that repeateth a matter separateth very friends.”
In July of 2021 I moved from the island of Guam to Pensacola, Florida. Of all the churches that I could have chose to go visit, I chose Campus Church (CC) at Pensacola Christian College (PCC). Their senior pastor is a horrible man named Jeff Redlin. At first I was happy to be there and thought all was well. But I was in for a big disappointment.
It was only after three weeks that I heard Pastor Timothy Zacharias on a Wednesday evening preaching false doctrine on repentance at CC. The church's official doctrinal position is, and I quote: “Repentance is a change of mind resulting in a change of behavior.” That is damnable heresy, because it implies that you are not really saved unless your behavior has changed. The truth is that behavior modification has absolutely nothing to do with receiving God's free gift of eternal life. You trust Christ as your personal Savior to get saved, and then God seals you with His Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit sanctifies every believer with the Word of God, that is, with THE TRUTH (John 17:17). But we must first “desire” that sincere milk of the word (1st Peter 2:2) or we won't grow in grace. We are exhorted in Romans 12:1 to “present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service.”
So you see, there are TWO decisions which God wants every person to make. The first is whether to accept Christ as your Savior. And the second is that every child of God decide to follow Jesus as their Lord (Master), to obey Him no matter what the cost. If we do not keep these two decisions separate, we corrupt the Word of God and cast stumbling blocks before the people. I contacted Jeff Redlin on Thursday, July 22, 2021 to inquire about this gross theological incompetence at Campus Church. To my horror and disappointment, Pastor Redlin 100% supported Pastor Zacharias and said this is their official teaching at Campus Church. In this screen capture of their Foundation's Class from July 21, 2021 you can see proof of what I say. This is serious folks! PCC preaches damnable heresy concerning the Gospel.
If you are not aware, Bob Jones University (BJU) preaches another gospel of Lordship Salvation (i.e., hardcore Calvinism). Kindly said, Jeff Redlin is a fool. That ungodly person needs to be fired, the sooner the better. It is pastors like Jeff Redlin who are ruining our country and corrupting our churches. There is no soulwinning at Campus Church. They have a few college men that go pass out church flyers each Sunday, but it is not church-wide soulwinning. During the summer of 2021 that I attended Campus Church, I never heard the word “soulwinning” mentioned even once. Evidently the PCC camp doesn't want the stigma of the Jack Hyles' camp (of which I am thankful to be a part of as a graduate of Hyles-Anderson College, 1985-1993). Dear reader, our churches are pathetic today! Our pastors no longer genuinely walk with God. I am just getting started exposing Pastor Jeff Redlin for the ungodly person that he is.
Unfortunately, my first and only wife divorced me 16 years ago in 2006. After all these years I hope to remarry. I kindly mentioned that to Pastor Redlin. The Bible says in 1st Corinthians 7:1-2 that to prevent the sin of fornication, every men should be married (and every woman should have a husband). The Bible teaches that if a man burns with physical desire, he needs to get remarried, rather than burn (1st Corinthians 7:9). Yet the PCC camp are so out of touch with reality that they tell people who are divorced that it is over, they must remain single forever. That is not what 1st Corinthians 7:1-9 teaches! To my horror and sadness, Pastor Redlin actually stooped so low as to scold me for coming to church to find a wife. But I had never said that the only reason I came to church was to find a wife. What a slanderous wicked man!
Then, right in front of his wife, Pastor Redlin was rude and insulted me, saying that if I ever did find a woman to marry, he would not perform the wedding. Who talks to people that way, unless they have issues? Jeff Redlin has serious issues! The guy has a big problem, really. In a thousand years, as a pastor, I would never mistreat someone like that who came to me with a broken heart, lonely and desiring companionship along life's way. Dear friend, the cliché “Christ is all you need” doesn't cut it when a man is physically burning with desire to remarry. Even God Himself said that it is not good for a man to be alone. Genesis 2:18, “And the LORD God said, It is not good that the man should be alone; I will make him an help meet for him.” If you don't think this verse means what it says, then you are a fool. Proof of what I say is that the answer to the problem was God giving Adam a help meet, a wife. Yet, Pastor Redlin (who has a wife) would have a man to masturbate the rest of his life in his prayer closet instead of remarry.
SHAME on Pastor Jeff Redlin! He needs to be fired. SHAME on Campus Church. They need a much better pastor. SHAME on Pensacola Christian College for allowing this fool to keep hurting people! Sadly, PCC is a cult today. There are umpteen issues at hand folks. I have already shared with you their departure from the fundamentals of the Christian faith. Not one verse in the inspired King James Bible says anything about repentance resulting in a change of behavior. These false prophets just can't help themselves! They just have to somehow add works to the free grace Gospel. If you think that a person's behavior must change to prove that they are saved, then you are woefully mistaken friend. Anything that an unsaved person can imitate cannot be used as “evidence” of salvation.
Can an unsaved person's behavior change? Yes, of course. Can an unsaved person love other people? Yes, they can. Can an unsaved person do good works? Yes, they sure can. So none of these things can be used as evidence of being born-again. The only true evidence that a person is saved, which only the individual can know, is if they have God's Holy Spirit living inside (indwelling) them. 1st John 3:24, “And he that keepeth his commandments dwelleth in him, and he in him. And hereby we know that he abideth in us, by the Spirit which he hath given us.” Do you have the Holy Spirit friend? I do, since age 13, when I received Jesus Christ by BELIEVING the Good News of the Gospel. Did my behavior change? Yes, but it wasn't because I repented, it was because I now had God living inside of me. They need to get their doctrine right at Campus Church, because RIGHT DOCTRINE MATTERS!!!
Sadly, there is more to say to expose Jeff Redlin. He admitted to me that they found slander about me on the internet. Allegedly Redlin claims that someone contacted their church to warn them about me. Pastor Redlin believed the slander, not having any knowledge of whether the slander was accurate and true or not. That is a wicked pastor! Pastor Jack Hyles (1926-2001) rightly taught us as preacher boys to refuse to listen to gossip. He taught us rightly to tell big-mouthed gossiping people to “Shut up!” Jeff Redlin didn't do that, he gave an ear to sinful slander, for which God will judge him in eternity. Sadly, Pastor Redlin mistreated me, threatening me in writing that I had better “walk circumspectly” at Campus Church, based upon unfounded rumors and slander against me that he found online. What a shameful pastor! What a wicked person! What an incompetent fool to be given leadership over several thousand PCC students! What is wrong with PCC's leadership today? Do they have any spiritual discernment? I think not.
When I interacted with Pastor Redlin, at no time did he ever offer to pray with me. At no time did he even tell me that God still loves me. When I told him that I was a graduate of Hyles-Anderson College, it meant nothing to him and he refuses to even acknowledge what I had told him. That is sad, really sad. Jeff Redlin is an arrogant fool. Campus Church pays him well over $100,000 a year, for what? In fact dozens of PCC staff get paid 6-digit outrageous salaries. PCC is a money hungry cult! They go through the religious motions each week? Yes, that is all they are doing, going through the motions, playing church as a game. But in his heart of hearts, Jeff Redlin does not walk closely walk God, for if he did he would have loved me unconditionally, even if the slander were true against me. Dr. Jack Hyles has Redlin's number:

Pastor Jeff Redlin has no compassion. He is no more than a meeny-mouthed ungodly religious hypocrite, who goes around condemning divorced people like me, haughtily defending his repentance heresy, full of lame excuses. He literally made the excuse to me that a PCC student had died in June. Then he made the lame excuse that he has a “big” church to run. The problem is not that Campus Church is TOO BIG; but rather, that Jeff Redlin's heart is TOO SMALL. I speak this to his utter shame. I am good at sizing-up people, and Jeff Redlin is a loser. He has no business leading a church. Instead, Redlin belongs in a car dealership or managing a McDonalds somewhere. But as long as PCC keeps him at the helm, their students will suffer for it. Only preachers can reproduce preachers Dr. Hyles rightly said. The hypocritical PCC camp is full of lifeless academics, who woefully lack God's compassion for hurting divorced people. I am a testimony to this fact. Pastor Redlin treated me poorly, making me feel like garbage.
And worst of all, when I told Pastor Redlin that he owed me an apology in the months to follow, he was stiffnecked and refused to humble himself to do so. That is a man of Belial, not of God. Some of my web visitors have even emailed him, per my request, to tell him that he is wicked and wrong, and that he still owes me a sincere apology, but there is none from Jeff Redlin; man of God? No way! Jeff Redlin sinned against God by listening to slander against me. Jeff Further sinned by repeating that gossip, separating whatever friendship that we could have had. God knows that I sincerely came to Campus Church in July of 2021 with the hope of becoming friends with their pastor, but by his own foolishness, Jeff Redlin threw me under the bus and condemned me—for the slanderous gossip he had found about me, for me being divorced and lonely, and for me showing him the error in his false teaching on repentance. I did the right thing, I told THE TRUTH. Jeff Redlin is a religious monster! I am just getting started exposing the cult at PCC!
And if I haven't already shown you how wicked the PCC camp is, then please listen to Samantha Field, who was brutally attacked physically on campus by a male, and then told to repent by PCC staff. This is how they mistreat hurting people in the PCC camp. This is exactly how Jeff Redlin abused me when I attended their cult. Of course I left that mess, when their rotten pastor abused, accused and threatened me. That is not hoe Christians are supposed to treat one another! Whether a hurting divorced man or a ravished girl, PCC doesn't care!
The fact that Pastor Redlin is too wicked and proud to apologize proves my point. I never heard from him again. The church does have my mailing address, because they sent me a letter the first week I attended, after I filled out a visitor's card. I wouldn't be surprised if Jeff Redlin had my address removed from their files in his hatred against me. Redlin also has my email address, because we corresponded several times. I did nothing to hurt that man, but he abused me horribly emotionally. PCC needs to get rid of him, or they will continue to have people upset at them. Campus Church has no true pastor today, they have an immature runt who doesn't know or care how to properly treat people. Pastor Redlin has zero people skills. That is really bad for a pastor of a large church. BJU is also an abusive college. Read Samantha Field in her own words, how she was assaulted twice at PCC, once by a male and then by PCC staff.
Jeff Redlin is a fool to make enemies. I was kind to him and just wanted for him to tell me that I was welcomed at Campus Church as a divorced man, but he kicked me in the head and left me for dead. When I told him that he made me “feel like garbage,” Pastor Redlin became defensive and acted like a little immature baby. The guy has a serious mental problem. He certainly doesn't know how to love people. People just want to be loved. I said PEOPLE JUST WANT TO BE LOVED. When you scold a hurting divorced person for hoping to find a wife at church, you are a really stupid pastor! Jeff Redlin is a stupid man. When he told me in front of his wife that he would never perform the wedding if I did find a woman to marry, Pastor Redlin was being hateful, injurious and foolish. The guy has no good sense at all. He is brutish! What a fool. Jeremiah 10:21, “For the pastors are become brutish, and have not sought the LORD: therefore they shall not prosper, and all their flocks shall be scattered.”
I didn't write this article to be unkind, but because bad pastors like Jeff Redlin need to be rooted out, exposed and removed from positions of influence. I hope my writings can be used of God to help clean up the mess we've allowed to exist in fundamentalist camps for way too long. People matter. Right doctrine matters. People just want to be loved, so just love the hell out of them!
